Cincinnati USA Welcomes the World July 4-14, 2012. Bringing nations together through song since 2000, the World Choir Games is the largest international event in the history of Cincinnati USA. Connect with other cultures during this once-in-a-lifetime event that is bringing more than 20,000 participants and hundreds of thousands of visitors to the region. World champions will be named in 23 musical categories such as barbershop, show choir, folklore, jazz, spiritual and more. Choirs will also perform at celebration concerts and free friendship concerts at various venues throughout the region. A Parade of Nations through the streets of downtown Cincinnati, Global Village on Fountain Square to mingle with choirs, Opening and Closing Ceremonies and awards ceremonies round out this colorful international event being held for the first time in the United States.
