Since its creation in 1979, Blue Ash Golf Course has been rated by Golf Digest magazine as one of America's top pubic golf courses and one of golf's best bargains with greens fees of $27 ($40 with cart). "City Council has always tried to keep the fees reasonable. They want to make the experience available to everyone - an everyman's golf course," says Bill Mayer, head golf professional at the course. "The combination of a challenging layout plus the conditioning make the course one of the area's best," Mr. Mayer says. About 40,000 rounds are played annually at Blue Ash Golf Course, and four sets of tees make the layout playable to all skill levels, he said. Blue Ash taxpayers, residents or employees of Blue Ash businesses are afforded preferred tee times.
