Bootsys features music memorabilia with tapas-style servings

CINCINNATI (April 3, 2008) -- Restaurateur Jeff Ruby and music legend Bootsy Collins announced today plans for a new restaurant and nightclub in downtown Cincinnati, to be named Bootsys produced by Jeff Ruby that will open in the Fall of 2008.

Located near the intersection of Seventh and Walnut across the street from the Aronoff Center for the Arts and in the heart of the Backstage Entertainment District, the restaurant will feature a Spanish-influenced menu with tapas and sushi bars, and will include seating at the exhibition kitchen.

Bootsys also will have two patios in the front and back of the restaurant, along with nightly DJ music in the club area. The downstairs level will hold the Bootsy Collins Rock and Roll Museum with music memorabilia that Collins has collected during his 30 years in the music business. Las Vegas designer Dave Stevens traveled to Paris to set the tone of the design for the restaurant.
