General admission to the Art Museum is always free, thanks to the Lois and Richard Rosenthal Foundation.Hours of operation: Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays and major holidays.

The Terrace Café, with outdoor dining available, serves sandwiches, salads, wine, beer, and a children’s menu. It’s open during regular Art Museum hours. For reservations, call (513) 639-2986.

The Education Center allows kids of all ages to explore interactive displays and create art through hands-on activities.

Stop by the Museum Shop for special 125th Anniversary memorabilia, including a limited edition print by Jim Borgman. Posters, books, jewelry, toys, and home items are also available. The Museum Shop is open during regular Art Museum hours.

If you’ve never been to the Cincinnati Art Museum, or it’s been a while, stop by our Visitor Services Desk in the lobby for some information and resources to make your trip even more enjoyable. Here are some tips:
- Navigate through the Art Museum and exhibitions with a Floor Plan—pick one up in the lobby.
- Take a public tour of special exhibitions and the permanent collection—offered daily.
- Pick up a Family Fun Guide in the lobby and explore the Art Museum through the eyes of your children.
- Art Museum employees are ready to help. Feel free to approach any employee or guard for information, directions, or assistance.
- If you need special assistance, please ask at the Visitor Services Desk.
- Please keep hands of all sizes at least three feet away from the artwork and labels.
- Please leave large bags and umbrellas in your car, or drop them off at the coatroom in the Art Museum lobby.
- Walk, amble, stroll, saunter, meander, wander, or promenade! But please don’t run in your museum.
- Photographing and drawing the works of art are permissible within the guidelines of copyright laws. Pick up a photography or copying guideline in the lobby. And, please, do not use ink pens in the galleries.
