About Cincinnati USA
The Cincinnati USA Partnership is the region's economic development initiative designed to deliver results through partnership. Facilitated by the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, it is supported through a five-year campaign with investments from businesses and public-sector organizations and Chamber members from throughout the 3-state, 15-county region known as Cincinnati USA.
The Cincinnati USA Partnership works to grow our economy by unifying the region's economic development strengths and resources. The mission is to capture our place as one of the world's favorite American business centers. Collaboration and cooperation among public and private businesses and organizations are essential to this success and the future vitality of the Cincinnati USA region. The program of work funded by the Cincinnati USA Partnership includes:
Local Business Retention and Expansion
The Regional Business Retention Committee, a group of 40 volunteers representing a range of companies, calls on 225 businesses each year, uncovering opportunities to help those businesses overcome obstacles to growth.
National Marketing
The proactive approach of the volunteers on the Partnership's National Marketing Committee signals increased, hands-on involvement by investors. Their activities supplement overall marketing efforts that innovatively promote the region to business decision-makers and produce a stream of new business opportunities for Greater Cincinnati.International Marketing
Inquiries about Greater Cincinnati from foreign companies are rising as word spreads about the advantages of doing business here. Periodic marketing trips to Canada, Western Europe and the Far East offer face-to-face opportunities to tout the advantages of the "Most Livable City in North America." The term "global market" may seem tired to some, but forward-thinking businesses are recognizing it's a reality and embracing the endless opportunities the world presents.CincyTechUSA
CincyTechUSA is the catalyst for the community effort to drive and sustain technology growth. The goal is to rev up the technology engine. Attracting and retaining a qualified workforce is a pressing need for most businesses. To assist our local companies with their workforce issues, the Workforce Solutions Group was established. The Group has developed a wealth of workforce resources to assist in developing the world-class workforce our region needs to fuel the economy. Many of these resources can be found at www.ChamberWorkforce.com, a single source for answers to many workforce challenges in relation to human resources, training, recruitment and public policy.Business Information Services
Because quick access to accurate information is a must for business growth, the Campaign maintains one of the region's largest business databases. The information is used to build customized mailing lists to help pinpoint business markets, as well as to assemble this book, the Greater Cincinnati Business & Industry Directory.
The Campaign's Business Information Center has become the "store" where companies shop for the particular business information they need. The Business Information Center, which includes an expanded outlet located in the Chamber's Branch Office in Blue Ash, Ohio, features a wealth of business and demographic information, recruiting materials, wage survey information and specialized business directories.
