Redbird Hollow Trail
Redbird Hollow Trail

One of the lesser known trails on the East side of town, Redbird Hollow is quite the surprise in the local hiking scene. Located off of Given Road in the suburb of Terrace Park in Indian Hill, if you are not paying attention you will miss the trailhead to Redbird Hollow.

This trail totals around three miles as an out-and-back hike and has plenty of side trails that travel down to Redbird Creek.

This trail is my go-to family adventure trail.  The trail is wide and with a subtle grade for the entire hike it is perfect for your smaller hiking companions.  It is also perfect for your four-legged hiking buddies as well - many dogs can be found enjoying the trail and nearby Redbird Creek.  When hiking with my family, we ususally stop counting how many dogs we encounter!

To get to the trailhead:  From Route 50, turn onto Given Road, drive close to a half mile and the trail head will be on your left.  If you drive up the hill, you have gone too far.
