June is chock full of local festivals like Newport ItalianfestCincinnati Juneteenth Festival, and RoeblingFest.  Cincinnati Opera's Summer Season begins in mid-June with captivating performances all summer long

Three music festivals take place in July along the riverfront. Bunbury Music Festival is a 3-day event featuring more than 100 performances on six stages at Sawyer Point & Yeatman's Cove. Then it's Buckle Up Music Festival, a three-day, six-stage country music bash also at Sawyer Point & Yeatman's Cove. Finally, Cincinnati Music Festival is two evenings of jazz, R&B, blues and hip-hop performances at Paul Brown Stadium. NASCAR fan? Be sure to get in on the action this month at Kentucky Speedway.

August offers food, fun, sports and music! The month kicks off with LumenoCity in Washington Park, Glier's Goettafest along Newport's riverfront, and Cincy Blues Fest at Sawyer Point, followed by Western & Southern Open at Linder Family Tennis Center, and Ohio Renaissance Festival.

Labor Day weekend celebrates the end of summer with a bang at Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks at P&G Riverfest (read our guide to Riverfest here), but the fun doesn't end there. Be sure to come back for Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati USA and MidPoint Music Festival in September.
