Walk where the stars have walked at these local landmarks that made it onto the big screen.

Arnold's Bar and Grill
Arnold's Bar and Grill
First opened as a tavern in 1861, Arnold’s is the oldest watering hole in Cincinnati. The exposed brick courtyard was transformed into a smoky night in Mexico in Marauders, a shoot-em-up thriller starring Bruce Willis, Dave Bautista, Christopher Meloni and Adrian Grenier.
Maury's Tiny Cove
The lounge-y paneled walls and throw-back red booths of Maury’s Tiny Cove made it the perfect setting for an intimate encounter during a scene for the Oscar-nominated Carol, set in 1952 and starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. This Westside steakhouse institution has been a local favorite since 1949.
Downtown Wyoming
Thanks to a flurry of fake snow and festive decorations on the tree-lined streets of this quaint northern neighborhood, viewers who watched A Christmas Melody (which debuted on the Hallmark Channel in December 2015) would have never guessed that the Mariah Carey–directed holiday musical was actually filmed there during the peak of Cincinnati’s fall foliage. Carey starred in the film, along with Lacey Chabert.
Rose Hill Avenue
Mount up some Greek letters and throw an old couch on the lawn, and it’s not hard to imagine how the grand homes of this picturesque North Avondale street could double as a fraternity house, which is exactly the role one played in the flick Goat, starring Nick Jonas.
Holy Cross Monastery and Church
Though vacant since 1977, this Mt. Adams landmark set the scene for a boxing match in the film Miles Ahead (released in April 2016), a film starring Don Cheadle that follows the life and music of Miles Davis. The property recently underwent a major renovation to become the Monstery Event Center, an upscale event space.
