Walk through the beautiful garden at Krohn Conservatory and gaze at thousands of beautiful butterflies flying amidst a striking collection of native plants from Bali. In 2021, the conservatory is celebrating 25 years of butterflies. Krohn is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily with timed ticket entry (masks required), and the Butterfly Show runs May 8 through September 6, 2021.

America's first baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds play the Philadelphia Phillies at Great American Ball Park during a three-game series beginning on Memorial Day (May 31 through June 2, 2021). While you're down at the ballpark, visit the Root the Reds Home exhibit at the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum.

Trek to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and coo over the newest arrivals. Meet Ajani Joe the black rhino, Zip the brand-new baby wallaby, fan favorite Fiona the hippo (not quite a baby anymore but still a must-see!) and more. The zoo is open each day of Memorial Day weekend and Zoo Babies is going on through the entire month of May 2021.

Music Hall is once again filled with the beautiful harmonies of the annual Cincinnati May Festival. Performances are May 21-22 and 28-30, 2021.

Rockin' on the Roebling kicks things off Thursday, May 27, 2021 with music by 500 Miles to Memphis in Smale Riverfront Park. Relax and enjoy a cold one in the Findlay Market Biergarten while listening to live music during Music at the Market on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, hang out on Fountain Square in the heart of downtown and enjoy free live music during the Spring Concert Series; or head to historic Over-the-Rhine for pop-up concerts on Thursday and Sunday in Washington Park while enjoying a local beer on The Porch.

Taste of Cincinnati is a free culinary delight that takes place Saturday through Monday of the holiday weekend. Grab some grub from more than 50 local restaurants and food trucks and enjoy live music from over 40 musical acts.
