About
Eating at the Schoolhouse Restaurant is a lot like eating at school in the '50s. Report cards from 1897 and 1899 hang just inside the building's sturdy double doors. Lunch and dinner menus are written daily on the original slate blackboard and dining tables are round with red- and white-checked cloths. Popular items are the fried chicken and baked cod. Mashed potatoes, salad, slaw, vegetables and bread are included with most meals.
