Horticultural and food enthusiasts will enjoy elaborate garden displays, creative containers, brimming window boxes, dramatic table settings, inspiring lectures, great shopping with plant and garden vendors in the Marketplace and tantalizing treats and culinary inspirations at the Fine Food Show and special events.
New to this year’s event offerings will be An Evening In Munich dinner, an international wine tasting event with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, an international Sister Cities cocktail and dinner celebration, Brides and Blooms, and a Battle of the Chefs cook-off featuring some of Cincinnati’s favorite chefs. Many of last year’s events will also be returning. They include the popular Bourbon Tasting with local mixologist Molly Wellmann, Spring Fling featuring the Naked Karate Girls Band, and the always-popular English Afternoon Tea.
Several local and national celebrities have already confirmed their participation. Among these are local horticultural experts Ron Wilson and Rita Heikenfeld, Cincinnati’s award winning chef, Jean-Robert de Cavel, former White House Florist and proprietor of Interieurs et Fleurs Laura Dowling, floral designer and author of Flowers of the Heart Sharon McGukin and British author Andrea Wulf.
