A series of new events and experiences focused on celebrating inclusion and empowering communities will take place in conjunction with the Cincinnati Music Festival, presented by P&G. Hosted by the Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau via its Vibe Cincinnati platform, the new programming adds to the already robust collection of experiences taking place throughout the week, beginning Wednesday, July 24 and running through Sunday, July 28.

Local and national performers, entrepreneurs and leaders will highlight the events, which range from concerts and parties to fireside chats and worship services. Each activity is part of an intentional growth strategy to bring new, diverse business opportunities to the Cincinnati region through broadened efforts around inclusion. Collaborations with various local partners have made each event possible.

“More than a weekend filled with great music, the Cincinnati Music Festival celebrates the power of diversity,” said Julie Calvert, president and CEO of the Cincinnati USA CVB. “Every experience points back to the CVB’s strategic approach to creating equity in events and continuing to establish Cincinnati as a destination where all are welcome.”

Tickets for Throwback Thursday are $50 for general admission or $100 for VIP tickets, which include two premium drink tickets, appetizers, a keepsake lanyard and a swag bag.

“The CVB’s intentional efforts around inclusion are on full display during the Cincinnati Music Festival week,” said Jason Dunn, Group Vice President of Diversity Sales and Inclusion at the Cincinnati USA CVB. “We are one of many organizations that want to invite people to come to Cincinnati earlier and stay later, and through our many partnerships we can celebrate the richness of the region’s diversity on the national stage.”

The Cincinnati Music Festival is the biggest annual tourism weekend in Cincinnati, generating $107.5 million in economic impact, according to a report produced by the University of Cincinnati Economics Center and commissioned by the Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau.
