HallZOOween at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden (Saturdays & Sundays in October, starting 10/14): Wild about Halloween? So is the zoo! Enjoy treat stations, photo opportunities, and festive fun from 12-5 p.m., Saturdays, and Sundays through the end of October. Plus, ride the Hogwarts Express train and enjoy fall-themed foods. Saturdays at the BOO!seum (Saturdays in October): Every Saturday in October you can bring your little ghost or goblin to the Cincinnati Museum Center and visit the Boo!seum. From dancing the Monster Mash and costume parades to creepy crawlies and scavenger hunts, Saturdays at the BOO!seum are all treats and no tricks.

Trick or Treat at Findlay Market (10/31; 4-6 p.m.): Trick or treat at Findlay Market. There will be children’s story time and crafts, games, a spooky haunted house, and more! This event is free.

Tricks and Treats Fall Fest at Kings Island (Saturdays & Sundays through 10/29): Put on your costume and join your favorite Peanuts characters at the Tricks and Treats Fall Fest at Kings Island. Activities include trick-or-treating, fall-themed games, mazes, and crafts. Plus, rides will be open to deliver the thrills and chills found only at Kings Island. 

Jack O'Lantern Junction at EnterTRAINment Junction (9/23-10/31): Take the fun indoors at EnterTRAINment Junction, home to the world's largest indoor train display. During Jack O'Lantern Junction, let the kids roam through the trick-or-treat or straw mazes, get a free mini pumpkin at the indoor pumpkin patch, make Halloween crafts, admire the Halloweenville miniature animated display, and enjoy outdoor kids' train rides. 

Jack O' Lantern Halloween Hike at Caldwell Nature Preserve (10/21; 6-9 p.m.): Hike a pumpkin-lit trail meeting a host of friendly costumed characters from nature and history. This nature walk lasts about one hour and is perfect for kiddos ages 3-10. $8, kids under 3 free. 

Pumpkin and Munchkin Trick or Treat Craft Event (10/14): Get ready for a fun-filled day of shopping, picture ops with Daisy the Cow, trick or treating, and a Disney movie at 5 pm. Don’t miss this free family-friendly event at Riverfront Plaza in Hamilton. 

Halloween at Hogwarts at Lebanon Public Library (10/12): Dress in your favorite Harry Potter costume and celebrate the spooky season! Experience magical stations, wizard-worthy crafts, a scavenger hunt, and Harry Potter trivia. Witches and Wizards under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult. Ages 8-16.

Halloween events for your kids in Northern Kentucky

Queen City Vaudevillians Halloween Show at the Falcon Theatre (10/21; 7: 30 p.m.): The Queen City Vaudevillians take the audience on a whimsical journey of laughter, wonder, and just downright silliness. Shows feature songs, dances, comedy routines, magic, prizes, and surprises!

Fall on the Farm at Blooms & Berries Farm Market (9/16-10/31): Bring the whole family to Blooms & Berries Farm in Loveland, to experience pumpkin patch hayrides, a 7-acre corn maze, a kids’ corn maze, farm animals, cow train rides, and more. Visit the market barn for fall treats such as fresh squeezed apple cider and caramel apples. 

Country Pumpkins Fall Festival (9/9-10/30; closed Tuesdays): Spend the day at Country Pumpkins Fall Festival on a 250-acre dairy farm in Dry Ridge, KY. Enjoy hayrides, a pumpkin launch, a corn maze, U-pick pumpkins, farm animals, and more! Visit their website for the most up-to-date information and ticket prices. 

Fall Fun at Niederman Family Farm (9/22-10/29; Thursdays-Sundays): Enjoy hayrides, a corn maze, a tractor play area, tiny houses, web climbing, animal exhibits, and more at Niederman Farm in Hamilton, Ohio. Don’t forget to shop for delicious fall treats like donuts and apple cider. Buy tickets online for a discounted price. $15 (online)-$18 (door price), kids 2 and under free.
