The City of Loveland will hold its annual Independence Day Celebration on Monday, July 4, 2022.
Kid Zone — 4 to 6:30 p.m., Nisbet Park
Games, photo opportunities, air brushing, Loveland High School Robotics Team, NEST family fun activities, meet Disney princesses & Marvel characters, martial arts demonstrations and more.
Lawn Games — 4 to 9:30 p.m., City Hall Lawn & Fountain Greene
Play cornhole, mini golf, giant jenga and other fun outdoor games!
Food Trucks — 4 to 10 p.m.
Food truck vendors will be available at Nisbet Park, Jackson Street Market, and Narrow Path Brewing. Try out Loveland Dairy Whip, AJ’s Cheesesteaks, The Right Stuff Grill, SEA Cuisine, Smokin Bark BBQ, J’s Fish Tacos and Fabulous Funnel Cakes & More.
Transportation — 4 to 11 p.m.
Park-and-ride shuttle locations will be at Loveland High School (1 Tiger Trail) and the Loveland Early Childhood Center (6740 Loveland-Miamiville Road). Drop-off locations will be at Riverside Drive and Third Street. Please note eventgoers will need to walk to the festivities from the drop-off locations. Shuttles will run continuously from 4-11 p.m.
Parade — 7 p.m.
The parade will leave from Loveland Elementary School (600 Loveland Madeira Road), turn on West Loveland Avenue, and travel through the downtown district, ending at the intersection of State Route 48 and East Loveland Avenue. If you or your organization would like to be in the parade, please register online by June 30.
Concert — 8 to 10 p.m., Nisbet Park
Don’t miss this high-energy party band that specializes in an eclectic blend of music covering the 70s to current radio hits! Color Blind will perform at the Nisbet Park Amphitheater.
Fireworks — 10 p.m.
Unlike recent years where there has been a city-wide show to accommodate pandemic viewing, 2022 will mark the return to one firework show. Downtown Loveland will be the best place to view the show, as the fireworks will be staged from Kiwanis Park.
