Laura Hoevener, Adventures Around Cincinnati
Laura Hoevener loves to encourage families to spend time together while discovering the many hidden treasures in Cincinnati. She recently released the second edition of the best-selling travel guide, Adventures Around Cincinnati, which she co-authored with Terri Weeks.

Laura married her husband John in 1994 and they have made their home in the Cincinnati area since 1999 after living in Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin.  They now live in Miami Township in Clermont County with their three Adventurous children (ages 5-15). She has an engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin and has worked in the manufacturing and utilities industries.  She is currently a professional mom who homeschools her kids and enjoys being active in her church. She has as much fun finding new things to do as her kids do, and is always on the lookout for new and interesting Adventures. She loves to experience life as a tourist.
