The Public Landing is the first phase of permanent exhibits to reopen in The Cincinnati History Museum (part of Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal) following the remarkable restoration work done to Union Terminal. The immersive experience transports visitors back in time to the mid-19th century, to the creak of paddle wheels on the river and the clip-clop of horse hooves on the cobblestones, the calls of dockworkers and street vendors and the sounds of a German beer hall. You can even climb aboard a recreation of the Queen of the West steamboat, stroll own the gangplank and visit historic shops while learning all about the city's history.
