Originally opened in 1933 as the Union Terminal train station, the building is a national historic landmark and was renovated and reopened as Cincinnati Museum Center in 1990. The venue's exterior served as the basis for the design of the Hall of Justice, the headquarters of the Justice League in the 1970s cartoon Super Friends. It is also a marvel of Art Deco architecture as the largest half dome in the Western hemisphere. Union Terminal is also home to the Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center, which uses storytelling, interactive experiences and genuine artifacts to ensure the lessons of the past inspire action today.Show more
