Starting at the Christian Moerlein Brewery & Malthouse Tap Room, we share the stories of Cincinnati breweries & the controversial role that Cincinnati’s beer industry played in filling the city with 1,000s of saloons. We envision daily life in Over-the-Rhine when it was one of America’s most crowded neighborhoods & explore the multiple roles that saloons played in 19th century life. Guests emerge from a trip into the subterranean lagering cellars of the Schmidt Brothers Brewery with an understanding of how technology changed the way we drank.
