Miami University was founded in 1809 and is the 7th-oldest state-assisted university in the nation. The university offers nearly 100 bachelor's degrees, more than 50 master's degrees, and nine doctoral programs. The Redhawks are members of the Mid-American Conference and include such sports as football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, golf and tennis.
