It is estimated that over 2.5 million rounds of golf have been played at Sharon Woods since 1938. The course is the oldest operated by Great Parks of Hamilton County and was officially opened in 1938 by legendary golfer Bobby Jones. Over the years, Sharon Woods Golf Course has been recognized by Golf Digest as a Four-Star “Places to Play” facility. Hole number 3 has been voted as one of the toughest holes in the city.

A valid Motor Vehicle Permit is required to enter the parks. Cost for residents of Hamilton County: $10 annual/$3 daily; other visitors: $14 annual/$5 daily. Otto Armleder Memorial Park and Fernbank Park are cooperative ventures with the City of Cincinnati; a Motor Vehicle Permit is not required.
